Six people on the designated driver option works out at about $42 each before tastings. Will your driver really drive my own car?
Yes. That is the whole product. A professional, insured IDYR driver meets you at your Airbnb or hotel, drives your vehicle for the five hour block, and hands the keys back at the end of the day. It is our most affordable option because you are supplying the seats.
What size vehicle can you drive?
Anything up to a fourteen seat van. Most of our designated driver days are a family SUV or a rented van the group already has. If you are unsure, send us the make and model and we will confirm.
How much does a designated driver cost in Fredericksburg?

How many wineries can we visit?
Three is comfortable in a five hour block, which is what most groups do. Four is possible if they sit close together on the 290 corridor. We would rather you sit down properly at three than rush four.

How far ahead should we book?
Forty eight hours is the minimum and a week is comfortable for most weekends. Peak weekends and Fredericksburg festival dates need thirty days or more, because the estates themselves book out.
