How a brewery crawl actually runs.

    Before the day

    We confirm the route, arrange the stops on the all inclusive crawl, and text you the pickup window. Nothing for you to plan.

  2. 2

    We pick you up

    Your driver-guide comes to your place, wherever you are staying across our Texas service area. The vehicle is yours for the whole block. Bring a cooler with your own refreshments if you want, adult beverages welcome, and the cans and growlers you buy ride home cold.

  3. 3

    First stop

    On the all inclusive crawl the stop is arranged and the day is set, so you just walk in. On an exclusive crawl you picked the breweries and distilleries and we run the route.

  4. 4

    Your driver-guide, on demand

    They know the breweries and distilleries, carry and load your cans and growlers, and if the group wants they will run out for food or scout the next stop so nobody stands around waiting.

  5. 5

    Food when it suits

    Most crawls break for a bite. Several stops have food trucks on site, or we hold a table nearby whenever it suits you.

  6. 6

    Last pour and home

    The final stop is the good one. Then we drive everybody home, which is the entire point of hiring us.

No surprises

What a brewery crawl costs.

Two things set your price: which vehicle you choose, and how many of you are riding. Designated Driver, where we drive your own vehicle, is a flat rate and the most economical way to do the day. Premium and Luxury cost more because we are supplying the vehicle.

Pricing is being finalized

Brewery and distillery crawl pricing is being confirmed. Tell the AI planner your group size, your date and the vehicle class and it returns an instant quote. Per person pricing falls as the group grows, because the driver and vehicle cost the same either way.

Five hour block on every crawl. Gas, tolls and bottled water are included. Vehicle class, from Designated Driver to Premium and Luxury, is picked when you book.

What gets added

  • Texas sales tax 8.25 percent on premium and luxury crawls, because those are a taxable amusement service in Texas. Designated driver bookings are not taxed, because we are driving your own vehicle and that is transportation.
  • Gratuity 20 percent, added automatically at six guests or more, and it goes straight to your driver.
  • Extra hours billed at ninety percent of the hourly rate, so a longer day gets cheaper by the hour.
  • Add ons charcuterie from $35, sipping kit $25, decoration package $45, and the party van setup for bachelor and bachelorette groups.

Full payment is required to book a crawl. There is no deposit, and your date is reserved the moment you pay.

Texas brewery crawl questions

How much does a Texas brewery and distillery crawl cost?

Pricing is being finalized. Tell the AI planner your group size, date and vehicle and it returns an instant quote. Designated driver, where we drive your own vehicle, is a flat rate and the most economical option. Premium and luxury cost more because we supply the vehicle. On a per person crawl the number falls as you fill the seats, because the driver and vehicle cost the same either way. Texas sales tax of 8.25 percent applies to premium and luxury crawls but not to designated driver bookings, and a 20 percent gratuity is added automatically at six guests or more.

What is the difference between the all inclusive and exclusive crawl?

The all inclusive crawl runs a set route in Austin and Dripping Springs, Vista Brewing, Dripping Springs Distilling and Jester King, arranged for you. The exclusive crawl is a five hour block where you pick the breweries and distilleries and we build the day around your list.

How many stops do you make in one crawl?

Three on a standard five hour crawl. That is the number that lets you actually sit down at each one rather than rushing a flight and getting back in the van. Extra hours are billed at ninety percent of the hourly rate if you want a fourth.

Where do you pick up?

Door to door across our Texas service area, Fredericksburg to Austin to New Braunfels, and we come to you. Pickup time counts toward your five hour block, so groups further out often add an hour.

Can we bring drinks for the ride?

Of course, and it is one of the real reasons to hire a vehicle. The van is yours for the whole block, so a cooler with your own refreshments rides along, adult beverages welcome, and the cans and growlers you buy stay cold in the back.

Is there a minimum group size or age?

Two guests, and crawls are 21 and up. Two to six travels in a premium SUV or van, and up to fourteen moves into the luxury Sprinter. Above fourteen we run multiple vehicles.

Do we need a designated driver, or is that included?

A professional driver-guide is included on every crawl, and they stay with the group the entire time rather than dropping you and leaving. If you would rather ride in your own vehicle, our designated driver service starts at $50 an hour with a five hour minimum and we drive yours instead.

How far in advance should we book?

Forty eight hours minimum, and forty eight hours to a week is comfortable for most weekends. Release days and peak event weekends need more runway.
