How the ghost tour actually runs.

    Before the night

    We confirm the route, hold your stops, and text you the pickup window. Nothing for you to plan.

    We pick you up

    Your driver comes to your place around dusk, wherever you are staying near New Braunfels. The vehicle is yours for the whole block, and you can bring a cooler with your own refreshments for the ride.

  3. 3

    Into the dark

    Historic downtown first, then the haunted locations along the ridge, with guided narration the whole way. The stops are set and arranged, so you just show up and listen.

    Your guide, on demand

    They tell the stories between stops, know which spots land with the group, and if everyone wants they will run for food or hold the next stop so nobody stands around in the cold.

    A nightcap

    Most nights finish at the Devil's Backbone Tavern, the most haunted bar in Texas, before the ride home.

    Then we drive everybody home, which is the entire point of hiring us.

Every tour is priced the same way, whether it is one of ours or one you build. This is the whole formula.

Five hour block, about 6 to 11 PM. Per person pricing falls as the group grows, and the vehicle class, from Designated Driver to Premium and Luxury, is picked when you book. Gas, tolls and bottled water are included.

What gets added

  • Texas sales tax 8.25 percent, because a tour is a taxable amusement service in Texas.
  • Gratuity 20 percent, added automatically at six guests or more, and it goes straight to your driver.
  • Extra hours billed at ninety percent of the hourly rate, so a longer day gets cheaper by the hour.
  • Add ons charcuterie from $35, refreshment cooler $25, decoration package $45.

Full payment is required to book a tour. There is no deposit, and your date is reserved the moment you pay.

What time does the tour run?

After dark, a five hour block from about 6 to 11 PM. We collect you from your Airbnb around dusk and return you at the end of the night.

What is the minimum age?

Twelve and up, so the tour suits teenagers and families as well as adult groups. It is atmospheric rather than graphic.

Historic New Braunfels sites, the haunted locations in between and a stop at the Devil's Backbone Tavern, the most haunted stretch of the Hill Country.

What is included?

Guided narration at every stop, a professional driver, door to door Airbnb pickup and return, and bottled water. You choose the vehicle class when you book.

Is there a minimum group size?

Two guests. Two to six travels in a premium SUV or van, and up to fourteen moves into the luxury Sprinter. Above fourteen we run multiple vehicles.

How far in advance should we book?

Forty eight hours minimum. October and Halloween weekends book out well ahead, so lock those dates as early as you can.
