Your driver waits in the cell phone lot and watches your flight land. Grab your bags, walk out to arrivals, and text the letter on the nearest curbside column. Same routine, Terminal A or Terminal B depending on your airline. Text once you are outside with your bags and we come to the arrivals curb. SAT is the quieter pickup of the two, and on a Sunday evening it is often the faster way home to the valley.
Either way, the forty five minutes of free wait time starts when your wheels touch down, not when you booked. Customs, a slow carousel and a gate hold are all covered by it.

How much is a shuttle from Wimberley to the Austin airport?
A premium SUV carrying up to five guests is $130 one way from Wimberley to Austin Bergstrom, or $240 round trip. San Antonio is $165 one way and $305 round trip. Wimberley residents pay a flat $85 one way to either airport for up to five guests. Every rate is flat, shown before you book, and includes gas, tolls and standard luggage.
Can I get an Uber or Lyft from Wimberley to the airport?
Sometimes, but rideshare coverage in the Wimberley Valley is thin and it thins out further before dawn, which is exactly when most airport runs leave. The return leg is the harder half, because a driver has to be willing to take a fare an hour out of Austin. A prebooked flat rate transfer removes both problems: the vehicle is assigned to you, the price is fixed, and it does not surge on a holiday weekend.
How long does it take to drive from Wimberley to Austin or San Antonio airport?
Austin Bergstrom is about 65 miles from Wimberley Square and San Antonio International is about 90. In normal traffic that is roughly an hour to an hour and fifteen to AUS, and an hour and fifteen to an hour and a half to SAT. We plan on the longer number, and we add more time on holiday weekends and during ACL, SXSW and the Formula 1 weekend at COTA.
What time should the shuttle pick me up in Wimberley for a 6am flight?
For a 6am domestic departure out of Austin Bergstrom we pick up in Wimberley at about 2:45am, which puts you at the terminal near 4am with time for bag drop and security. For San Antonio we leave about fifteen minutes earlier. Pickups before 5am carry a $30 surcharge that is shown on the rate card and added in the booker, never sprung on you at the curb.
Do you pick up in Woodcreek, Driftwood, Fischer and the rest of the Wimberley Valley?
Yes. Woodcreek, Woodcreek North, the River Road and Blanco River corridor, Devil's Backbone, Fischer, Driftwood and Henly are all inside our normal Wimberley pickup area and ride on the same flat rate. Further out, in San Marcos, Canyon Lake, Blanco, Kyle, Buda and Dripping Springs, we quote the run individually and the price is still fixed before you book.
Do I pay the driver, or is it prepaid?
It is prepaid by card on this page, so nothing changes hands at the curb and there is no cash, no app juggling and no card fee added by a driver. You get an itemised receipt by email, which matters if you are expensing the trip. Gratuity is added automatically only at six guests or more, and it goes straight to your driver.
What happens if my flight into Austin is delayed?
We track the inbound flight and move the pickup with it, at no charge for a delay outside your control. Your driver waits forty five minutes free from the moment you land, and past that wait time bills at $15 per thirty minutes with a call to you first. A cancelled flight becomes a rebooking credit rather than a lost fare.
Can you take a group of ten or more from Wimberley to the airport in one vehicle?
Yes. Ten and fourteen passenger vans and Mercedes Sprinters are on the same published rate card, from $180 one way, so a wedding party or a family reunion does not have to split across three cars and three fares.
